Mobi for The Kenyan Youth

Under Kenyan law, one is considered a youth if they are between 18 and 35 years old. The issue of unemployment among the youth has been a problem in this country for quite some time. According to research, Kenya's youth unemployment rate increased in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter. The rate in the 20-24 age group was 16.3 per cent, up from 15 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2020. Unemployment among young people aged 15 to 19 increased to nearly 7%, after reaching a low of 2.8 per cent in Q4 2020.

Mobi was then built in Kenya to curb unemployment and empower the country's citizens. The beauty is that there are multiple ways that Kenyans, especially the youth, can earn with this product.

This is how Kenyan youth can earn with Mobi

1.Becoming a Mobi driver

The Mobi ride-hailing app is an opportunity for youth from all parts of the country to earn a decent living while providing ride-hailing services. One can register as a driver, get verified, and start driving if one owns a car. On the other hand, if one doesn't own their vehicle, they could hire from another party, get verified, and still earn as a driver. The amazing thing is that one can choose to drive full-time or part-time.

2. Employ Mobi drivers

Suppose you own a fleet of cars, or only one, and you desire to earn a passive income from Mobi. Hire a qualified driver(or drivers) to provide the service while you do other business. This way, you get to earn a passive income from Mobi.

3. Delivery services

If ride-hailing is not your thing, you have an opportunity as a driver to provide delivery services to people. Examples of things that people need to be delivered include food, groceries, packages, and parcels.

Even if you do not have a car, you can still deliver packages, parcels, and food to nearby customers (within a 5km radius) on foot, hoverboard, or on a motorcycle. Again, delivery services can be done as a full-time or part-time gig.

4. Join the referral program

With Mobi, anyone can earn a passive income through the referral program. This is through the Mobi Powershares, where the driver makes 82% of the total amount paid, 4% goes to the referee, and 14% goes to Mobi. Drivers can earn more when they refer other drivers and passengers to use Mobi. Passengers can refer as many as they prefer and earn 4% from each ride. Through this opportunity, the youth can earn an extra with Mobi.

What else can Mobi do?

After all the above, it begs the question, what else can this fantastic app do? It would be best to get all the answers from this Article; Who they are.

Conclusion

Mobi is here to change how Kenyans move. To empower how the youth earn, making it both easy and convenient while confronting the issue of unemployment. Mobi is one of its kind inventions. It is the future of ride-hailing.
